Brightly colour Iberian tones adorn this pre-war ex-local authority flat in Haggerston and home to one third of Red Deer. The design was conceived in collaboration with Studio Thorn – sourcing hand painted Portuguese tiles, Spanish artwork and reclaimed furniture in contrast with an unashamed and utilitarian mix of stainless steel, brass and cast iron. Light permeates the modest rooms decorated in muted pastels to frame areas of idleness and calm.
