Red Deer translates the energy of the classic American burger joint and fast-forwards it into contemporary London. Rooted in the familiar language of diners, drive-ins and roadside Americana, the design plays with nostalgia through a retro-futuristic lens – bold, graphic and slightly unexpected. Familiar references are sharpened up, stripped back and reimagined for Manna.
Warm materials, punchy details and a playful simplicity give the space its character, creating an easy-going backdrop to Manna’s equally bold approach to food.
The result feels somewhere between past and future: nostalgic but not nostalgic-looking, polished but never precious. A new-school burger joint made for everyday London. Drawing on the visual language of American burger culture, the interior balances simplicity with moments of warmth and personality. The result is a space that feels informal and welcoming, bringing Manna’s distinctive identity into a contemporary London context.
