Our third project with Dearborn Estates, Millbridge Court, reimagines the experience of countryside hospitality through a series of calm, carefully composed spaces designed for gathering, retreat, and celebration. The project introduces a more intimate language to the existing wedding venue that balances warmth, wonder, and understated elegance in a distinctly rural setting.
The design, developed in collaboration with Helen Pike, draws on some of the vernacular of the Surrey locality, drawing palettes from the traditional woad craft. The project offers a contemporary interpretation of the country house: informal, welcoming, and deeply rooted in its setting. Considered detailing aims to create interiors that feel both playful and restrained. Bedrooms and common areas are all conceived to support moments of pause or celebration, while subtle contrasts in texture and materiality lend depth and wonder throughout.
