The Webster
The conversion of Club Quarters Covent Garden to a Webster involves a full redesign of the guestrooms, public spaces, and lounge space, along with the addition of a restaurant and speakeasy within the basement, which pays homage to the rural vintage Italia, suitably called Carmelina’s. The speakeasy will be a hidden gem which oozes affluence and cool with subdued lighting, deep, rich red velvets, and a large in situ gold hammered bar, all complemented by live jazz music.
The overhaul looks to revamp the offering with notable activation of the external courtyard facing Lincoln’s Inn Fields, with luxurious outdoor seating creating a bold new connection to the new indoor/outdoor bar. The terrace will be transformed into a melting pot from morning with fresh breakfast offerings to afternoon lunch and lubricating cocktails in the latter hours, which are exceptionally made by the onsite mixologist.
The overall scheme aims to embrace uniqueness, from bespoke laid terrazzo flooring to adventurous furniture that embodies timelessness. The lounge will form a focal point within the project, providing a hideaway with deep, comfy sofas alongside a library area for those who care to be a little studious.
The Webster will be more than a hotel, rather a destination that aims to step away from the norm and leave lasting impressions.
